Spring in nature is a time to welcome back old friends from far-away places, as well as meet new ones. Not only do animals come out of hiding after long blustery winters, but as the big melt happens, so does the denning and mating season. And just as spring hits its peak, babies of all kinds are roaming around, exploring their new territories and navigating their new, exciting -- and even scary -- lives. Everything is new and curiosity often gets the better of them, making it so much fun to watch them find their footing upon awkward feed and explore their new world.

It's the circle of life in action and while it's not always pretty or elegant, it's nonetheless fascinating and mesmerizing.
